2019 SENEGAL WAFU CUP OF NATIONS FIXTURES

We are pleased to submit final tournament information relevant to the upcoming WAFU Cup of Nations 2019 taking place in Thies, Senegal from September 28^th - October 13^th 2019. The WAFU Cup of Nations tournament, played within the framework of the multi-year WAFU / FOX partnership agreement, requires all WAFU Zone A & B Federations to field their strongest senior national teams (comprised of local and international players) for the tournament. The WAFU Cup of Nations tournament will be broadcast globally with an estimated viewership of over 200m viewers.

THE WAFU-B PRESIDENT PELE APPOINTED

 6TH EDITION OF AFRICAN FOOTBALL NIGHT 

The President of CAF has appointed Colonel Major Pelé to represent him at this important ceremony.

Guest of honor , the President of the African Football Confederation, Ahmad Ahmad, will be represented by WAFU-B President Colonel-Major Pelé at the 6th edition of the African Football Night. An event that the Togolese capital Lomé will host Saturday, July 27, 2019. At this event, several major figures of African football are announced.

Note that this 6th edition of the African Football Night will be marked by a Gala match followed by a big gala in the evening on July 27, 2019 during which will be awarded, 11 African players in recognition of their rich career.Several african football  legends are expected in Lomé on this occasion namely the Cameroonian Roger Milla, the Nigerians Jay Jay Okocha and Nwanko Kanu, the Ghanaian Abedi Pele and Samuel Kuffour, the Ivorian Didier Drogba, the Egyptian Mohamed Abouterika or the Togolese Emmanuel Adebayor.
